Description
Japan is iconic for it’s beautiful plum and cherry (sakura) trees especially as cherry blossoms bloom for only around 2 weeks, usually in April.
The city of Tokyo was once also noted for Tokyo Tower, Japan’s “Eiffel Tower” standing taller than its Paris equivalent by 9 metres at 333 metres tall. These communications towers are positively dwarfed by the Tokyo Skytree in this image which stands at 634 metres and gives incredible views of the city for as far as the eye can see. It’s truly an exceptional sight to behold during the transition from day to night.
The structures design is based on the traditonal five story pagoda and I give thanks to the blossoms for allowing the interrelatiom of nature and thus connecting Nature to Urban and Spirtual in this shot!
